The Cafe LaTE Times is an online newspaper assembled by the OIU Foreign Language Center staff especially for Japanese learners of English, particularly those living in Okinawa. The Cafe LaTE Times takes various English language news sources available on the Internet, and puts them all together for you in one convenient location. The Cafe LaTE Times features English editions of newspapers published in Japan, including Okinawan newspapers, national dailies, and regional weekly papers. The Cafe LaTE Times has sections for local and international news, weather, sports, entertainment, opinion, vocabulary building, hot new web sites, and even comics. Many of the news sources also have audio feeds so that you can listen to the news as well. |
